i used to go get my hair done at the dominican hair salon’s, but now it is becoming too expensive and much more trouble than it is worth. i’m looking for an alternative with near the same results, and i know that the chi silk infusion product really works great. but, i don’t know much about their other products. has anyone used the expensive blow dryers as a means to straighten their hair to really straight? i am only mentioning my race because it is relevant, i am black and my hair is super curly and tangly- it gets really straight when it wants to. ahhh sorry this is so drawn out, BUT, if you have NOT used a chi hair dryer, do you know any other blow dryer that gets hair really straight because blow drying your hair and then straightening causes damage that i am trying to avoid. okay, done. lol

I have purchased a pink chi hair dryer and the box said that it contained lead. Is that something that is not good to use if it contains lead? I seen on the other red and black ones they don’t contain lead. Recently when I’ve been using my hair dryer it smells like burnt hair, anyone else have this problem? I was thinking about getting a hair straightener from Chi, but i’m not so sure now. I’ve looked into Solia brand, not sure if they are any good. I also seen that Chi only guarantees their products for 1 year, and someone said a lifetime, not sure which one? Thanks for your help!
